Ship the original FBI Identity History Summary via express courier from any major Indian city. Express courier from India to the US takes approximately 3 business days. Send us your tracking number on WhatsApp and we confirm receipt the same day it arrives.
We review and notarize
We inspect the document for quality (clear impression, unlaminated, all pages present), notarize it with a US-licensed notary, and prepare the State Dept submission packet. If there's any issue, we notify you on WhatsApp before doing anything else.
We submit to the US Dept of State (walk-in, DC)
We walk your document in to the State Dept's Washington DC office at 600 19th St NW — in person, not mail. In-person submissions process in 2–10 business days depending on your service tier. The government's mail route takes ~5 weeks. We never mail. We photograph the apostille and share it with you.
We ship back to your door in India
We ship via express courier from our US office directly to your India address with full transit insurance. You receive the tracking number as soon as we ship. Express delivery from the US to India takes approximately 3 business days.

"Express" clarification: Express means we submit to the State Dept on the same business day we receive your document and use the quickest available channels — not that the apostille is ready the same day. The State Dept processes at their own pace; Express eliminates the lag between receipt and submission for a ~1–2 week door-to-door total.

What Can Make It Faster or Slower
US Federal Holidays
The State Dept is closed on US federal holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Labor Day, etc.) — these don't count as business days. November–December orders may run 2–3 days longer than normal.
State Dept Backlog
Volume spikes around April (tax season) and September (new academic year). Our standard timelines are conservative to account for normal backlog fluctuation.
Document Quality
A document that arrives blurry, laminated, or incomplete cannot be submitted. We review every document before submission and notify you immediately if there's an issue — this can add 1–2 days if a replacement needs to be sourced.
Customs Clearance
Express couriers clear customs efficiently, and we've never had a customs hold on an apostille document. Allow 1 extra day if your city is not a major courier hub (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad are all primary hubs).
