Tracking your apostille — common questions

How do I check the status of my apostille order?
Message us on WhatsApp with your full name and the date you shipped your document. We reply within about 2 hours during business hours (Mon–Sat, 9AM–8PM IST) with exactly which of the 7 milestones your order is at. We also proactively update you at every stage, so you'll usually know before you even ask.
How will I know when my document reaches the US Department of State?
When we notarize and physically submit your FBI PCC at the US Department of State walk-in office in Washington, DC (Step 04), we send you a WhatsApp confirmation. Once the apostille is attached (Step 05), we photograph it and send you the picture before we ship it back.
Can I track the DHL shipment myself?
Yes. We share the DHL Express tracking number both when you ship the document to us and when we ship the apostilled original back to India, so you can follow it directly on DHL's website at any time.
How long until my apostilled document reaches India?
Total door-to-door time is roughly 16 days on Standard, 11 days on Rush, and 8 days on Same-Day service — including DHL transit both ways. See the tier table above for a stage-by-stage breakdown. All estimates are in business days.
What information should I keep handy for status checks?
Your full name, the date you shipped, your DHL tracking number if you have it, and your chosen service tier (Standard, Rush, or Same Day). With those, we can pull up your order instantly.
What happens if my document is delayed at the US Department of State?
Government processing times can occasionally run longer than the estimate. If that happens, we tell you proactively on WhatsApp rather than leaving you guessing, and we monitor the submission until the apostille is issued.
